The building intercom connects with your apartment telephone. When a person calls you on the intercom, your phone will give a double-ring. To buzz your visitor into the building, press 6 on your phone dial pad. If you are on another call when your intercom rings on call waiting, to talk on the intercom without disconnecting your phone caller, press 3 on your dial pad; press 3 again to return to your outside caller. Do not buzz someone into the building unless you know who they are. If the caller claims to be a delivery person but does not show up at your door shortly after you buzz them in, call Homeowner Services to report the matter. 847-866-7400.
